Ekström march is an event to popularize active outdoor habits and introduce war history to whole families, which takes place in the untouched landscapes of the biggest and oldest estonian national park – Lahemaa. In addition to the hike in the nature, participants can enjoy additional historic events like concerts, movies, workshops and fair.
The march is dedicated to Colonel Ekström and his regiment of finnish volunteers, who fought in the Estonian War of Independence. The march includes several different routes and can be accomplished by all age groups of active people, from kids to the elderly.
